In order to create the new offices of the company Dimensione Vending Srl in Forlì, a company operating in the field of the automatic distribution for small, big companies and for private customers, we were asked to offer a design contract service that included both the space allocation and the design and a complete delivery of the furnishing, finishes and lighting.
By means of this project we intended to highlight the possibility to create outstanding customizable spaces even in working places.
The company, composed of young people and very active businessmen, aims at a particular attention to quality and service with an attentive focus on the latest new products and on the sector opportunities.
As a matter of fact, we aimed to realize a project that could represent this company philosophy, matching research with experimentation, modernity with tradition.
As regards the reception, a space that welcomes customers and suppliers, we created a large professional welcoming desk, using different materials that fit together like in a puzzle, playing with dark and anthracite grey tones.
Behind the desk the wall was decorated with a finishing with a copper effect that, together with the black surrounding colour, perfectly represents the company colours.
The stairs that lead to the offices is made of iron and the flight of stairs, which is larger, creates a material scenographic effect, enhanced by three footpath spotlights set in the landing.
The dark-painted but well-lighted stairwell leads to the floor of the managerial offices.
Here the completely open-plan meeting room will welcome you thanks to a wide transparent glass window closing it.
Right away you will perceive the unconventionality of our interior design choices.
The meeting table was realized by means of an old stripped door on which a glass flat surface was arranged; we carried out a sample painting of the chairs in a very bright yellow colour and the group of lamps, that remind the couple of lamps used for the reception, create a welcoming atmosphere.
On the left we will find the first office; here we used a reclaimed door that was painted externally in bright red colour.
As far as the wall is concerned, we chose large horizontal stripes; the recovered furniture, exactly painted as the wall, creates an optical effect as if it were an integral part.
In the very technical but essential space, with a writing desk made of natural iron and glass, a red armchair and a collection of prints about cycling stand out.
At the end of the hallway we will see the second office that welcomes us with a bright orange door. We chose a decoration with cold but vivid colours that become warmer thanks to the proximity of the durmast oak top of the writing desk and of the ecru colour of the storage furniture.
In both offices the same typology of lighting was used, such as totally regressed LED spotlights together with a bunch of spotlights hanging on the writing desks.
Our gallery ends with the space reserved for the employees, specially required by the ownership and built with a leisure aim, reflected in the shape of this area; here the staff can take a break or relax. The room is equipped with small sofas, a kitchen space and a large table to eat and to have a rest.
Considering the fact that the company work takes place in a factory or outside the plant, the idea to create a comfortable air conditioned space seemed to us a worthy one, reflecting the same concept of the Dimensione Vending Srl Company.
